B & R Video Digital Downloads (mp4 files)You may have seen a download button on online video services such as the BBC iPlayer and Google's youtube among many others. This means you can download the program or film (sometimes called "media") onto to your PC, tablet, phone or other mobile device so you can view it on those devices. With the full permission of B & R, Wolverton Rail has converted some of their titles to the industry standard MP4 format and these are now available to buy and download (just like on Amazon etc). How to order:- Just place your order as though you were buying a DVD. It's exactly the same procedure except that...
- My website sends you an email receipt that contains a link to your video files (you may have seen something like this before in receipt emails from me.. I often include a link to download a B & R catalogue. The only difference is that is free.. oh and it is an awful lot quicker than downloading a large video file)
- Click on that link and follow the instructions to download your video file over your broadband landline connection. It is not a good idea to try and download it over a mobile phone internet connection. It will easily AND QUICKLY burn up your mobile data allowance.. remember it is typically a 1.2-2GB download per video. You are downloading it not streaming it like iPlayer or Netfix. So I recommend you don't use your mobile phone to download it.
